Guardian Homes

At Edgewater Doodles, we believe that every dog should have a loving forever home. Our dogs live in our home with us and get all the love and attention they deserve as part of our family. Our Guardian Home program is in place to offer this luxury to all of our breeding dogs. As a Guardian, you will get a "pick of the litter", health tested dog placed in your home for free. EWD will own the dog and breeding rights until he/she is retired from the program (usually between 4-6 years depending on gender). After retirement, the dog is spayed/neutered and ownership is transferred to Guardian family for the remainder of his/her life.

What does it take to be a Guardian Home for EWD?

• Must own your home

• Must have a fenced in yard

• Must live within 30 minutes for males or within 3 hours for females of area code 37312 

• Must raise dog indoors

• Must be willing to train puppy/dog with basic commands and manners

• Must be willing to travel to breeder for breeding purposes

• Must be willing to pay for all regular expenses (food, vet care not related to breeding, grooming, etc.)

• Must have GREAT communication skills (we need quick response times to to texts and phone calls)

We have spots available in the next 3-12 months for Poodles, Yorkipoos, Goldendoodles and Double Doodles.
